Secondary growth

A friend felt her breasts suddenly enlarged a while ago, thinking they were developing again. However, she soon discovered that only one side was swollen and there was a lump. She worried it might be a malignant tumor. Fortunately, after a mammogram and a detailed examination by a doctor, it turned out to be a false alarm! Her condition was common mammary gland hyperplasia.

I believe most women have experienced breast tenderness and swelling before their period, which returns to normal after menstruation. This is similar to mammary gland hyperplasia. Mammary gland hyperplasia is not a disease; most women experience it, typically between the ages of 25 and 45. It is a normal physiological phenomenon where breast tissue is affected by hormones and does not increase the risk of breast cancer. The breasts are located along the liver meridian and are particularly susceptible to emotional stress. Emotional fluctuations, stress, anxiety, etc., can lead to stagnant liver qi, disrupted qi and blood flow, and liver-stomach disharmony, causing lumps in the breast vessels and collaterals.

For daily use, simply prepare 5 grams of dried dandelion, rinse it clean, put it in a cup, and steep it in hot water for 10 minutes before drinking. For those with a cold constitution, ginger slices or roses can be added to reduce its cold nature. Dandelion tastes bitter and sweet, is cold in nature, and enters the liver and stomach meridians. It can clear heat and detoxify, reduce swelling and disperse nodules, and promote diuresis. It is mainly used to treat heat-toxic carbuncles, excessive internal heat, red eyes and swollen throat, oral ulcers, heat-toxic sores, and mastitis.

Dandelion can clear heat and detoxify, disperse nodules, and relieve pain, effectively alleviating mammary gland hyperplasia.

In addition, dandelion is particularly effective for liver protection. Its heat-clearing and detoxifying properties are especially targeted at the liver, helping to eliminate liver toxins and reduce liver fire, which is particularly beneficial for those who frequently stay up late or drink alcohol.
