Blood vessel scavenger

A friend's father recently suffered a sudden stroke, resulting in slurred speech and weakness on one side of his body. Fortunately, he was rushed to the hospital for injection treatment and was discharged quickly. He recalled nothing unusual before the stroke, except for feeling particularly tired and yawning frequently during those few days.

Stroke, also known as cerebral stroke or cerebrovascular disease, occurs when there is a problem with the blood vessels in the brain. Blockage or rupture of cerebral blood vessels prevents brain tissue from receiving sufficient blood, nutrients, and oxygen. The affected nerve cells are consequently damaged or even die, leading to various neurological symptoms.

Healthy blood vessels are key to preventing stroke. It is recommended to use 8g of hawthorn and 5g of chrysanthemum. Wash the ingredients and place them in a thermos cup with hot water to steep for 20 minutes. This tea can cleanse the blood and protect the heart. Drink one cup after each meal daily for vascular health, especially suitable for individuals with "three high" conditions (high blood pressure, high blood sugar, high cholesterol). Note: It is not suitable for those with spleen and stomach deficiency and cold.

Hawthorn, also known as "vascular scavenger," has a sour and sweet taste, is warm in nature, and acts on the spleen and stomach meridians. It can invigorate the spleen and appetite, alleviate stagnation and indigestion, promote blood circulation to disperse stasis, and regulate blood lipids.

Hawthorn is rich in flavonoids, which help dilate blood vessels and promote collagen growth to assist with blood vessel wall elasticity, increasing vascular toughness and helping to lower blood pressure.

Chrysanthemum has a sweet and bitter taste, is slightly cold in nature, and acts on the lung and liver meridians. It can dispel wind and clear heat, detoxify and reduce swelling, soothe the liver and improve eyesight, and calm liver yang.

Healthy diet and exercise can prevent stroke, and drinking water is also one of the important factors. Adequate water intake can maintain blood viscosity, maintain stable blood pressure, ensure blood flow to the brain, and reduce the risk of stroke.
