Made in Hong Kong

When I picked my son up from school earlier, he excitedly shared with me a new book he had borrowed, describing it with great relish. It turned out to be a thick book with no illustrations, and as a mother, I was instantly moved, feeling that he had grown up again.

My son is already 7 years old in the blink of an eye, and it was after his birth that I developed an interest in health-preserving teas. My own brand, like him, has also grown through ups and downs.

Many companies closed down and laid off staff during the pandemic. As a small Hong Kong brand, surviving in this environment is not easy at all. I am honored to be favored by Marketplace by Jason and Wellcome Supermarket, and to have our products featured in their "Made in Hong Kong" section, allowing more people to discover this brand.

Maintaining good health is not difficult; as long as you find a method that suits you and persevere, whether it's Chinese medicinal herbs or Western herbal teas. When stressed, I most like to use Western chamomile and lavender, paired with 3 grams each of stir-fried sour jujube seeds, to brew a tea. This tea has a light floral aroma, which helps to alleviate tension and stabilize emotions.

Chamomile, with its pungent and sweet taste and slightly cold nature, enters the Lung and Liver meridians. It can dispel wind and clear heat, clear the liver and improve eyesight, soothe the skin, relieve tension, and stabilize emotions.

Lavender, with its pungent and sweet taste and cold nature, enters the Heart, Lung, and Stomach meridians. In addition to relieving stress, relaxing nerves, and aiding sleep, it can also relieve flatulence.

Sour jujube seeds have a neutral nature and a sweet and slightly sour taste, entering the Heart, Liver, and Gallbladder meridians. They can nourish the heart and calm the mind, and have antiperspirant effects, making them particularly suitable for individuals who experience insomnia, frequent waking, or vivid dreams due to vexation.
