Periods turning into seasonal periods

Changes in menstruation are an important indicator of women's physiological health, but many women often experience irregular periods. Some women find their periods extend from once a month to once a quarter, which not only affects fertility but also contributes to premature aging. Many menstrual problems stem from different body constitutions. Below are two of the most common body constitutions that lead to menstrual irregularities, and addressing them can help improve periods.

Women with a liver-qi stagnation constitution often experience symptoms such as menstrual blood clots, tension and depression, migraines, late nights, or insufficient sleep. Women with this constitution need to focus on relieving stress and regulating their daily routines. It is recommended to brew a tea with 5 roses, 10 grams of goji berries, and 1 piece of dried tangerine peel. This tea helps regulate menstruation, enrich blood, promote qi circulation, and nourish the liver.

Women with a cold-deficiency constitution are prone to symptoms such as cold hands and feet, excessive vaginal discharge, fatigue, menstrual pain, and a pale complexion. Women with this constitution need to keep their uterus warm and avoid exposure to cold and cold foods to ensure smooth qi and blood circulation. Otherwise, coldness can cause qi and blood to coagulate, leading to menstrual disorders. It is recommended to brew a tea with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, 2 slices of ginger, and 1 teaspoon of brown sugar. This tea helps warm the meridians, dispel cold, activate blood, and warm the uterus.

In addition to dietary regulation and exercise to improve constitution, you can also soak your feet in warm water (around 40 degrees Celsius) before bed to promote blood circulation, aid sleep, warm meridians and clear collaterals, nourish the kidneys, consolidate essence, and strengthen your constitution. Women should understand their body constitution and address it appropriately to improve menstrual problems, thus achieving anti-aging effects.
