Period pain due to a cold uterus

When chatting with a friend, we talked about the recent craze for buying painkillers to keep at home. I mentioned that I also have a box at home. She proudly said that she didn't rush to buy them because she has had period pain since she was a child, so she always keeps a large supply of painkillers at home. She also asked if there was any special tea for period pain.

Many women suffer from menstrual pain, and painkillers are only a temporary solution, not a cure. To get rid of menstrual pain, you must address the root cause. Women are fundamentally dependent on blood, but they are affected by the ebb and flow of qi and blood during menstruation. A warm uterus means good complexion, while a cold uterus leads to various illnesses. The uterus needs to be warm for qi and blood to flow smoothly. Otherwise, qi and blood will coagulate when exposed to cold, which can not only lead to period pain but also menstrual disorders, melasma, aging, weight gain, and even difficulty conceiving.

To warm the uterus and improve period pain, you can use 1 piece of dried tangerine peel, 3 slices of ginger, and 3 roses. After rinsing all ingredients with water, steep them in hot water for 15 minutes before drinking.

This tea can soothe the liver and relieve depression, regulate menstruation and warm the uterus, balance endocrine, dispel cold, and relieve pain. It is especially suitable for people with menstrual discomfort, period pain, and cold hands and feet, and can also be consumed during menstruation.

Dried tangerine peel is pungent and warm in nature, and it enters the lung and spleen meridians. It can regulate qi and strengthen the spleen, dry dampness and resolve phlegm, and nourish and condition.

Ginger is pungent and warm in nature, and it enters the lung, spleen, and stomach meridians. It can warm the lungs and relieve cough, induce sweating to release the exterior, and can treat colds caused by wind-cold, spleen and stomach deficiency cold, or disharmony of stomach qi.

Rose is sweet and warm in nature, and it enters the liver and spleen meridians. It can promote qi circulation and relieve depression, activate blood and relieve pain, nourish blood and replenish qi, beautify the skin, promote blood circulation, balance endocrine, and regulate emotions.
